ArecaBay API Network Engine is a zero-impact software-only product. It comprises of a collection of intelligent, light-weight, and easy to deploy MicroSensors that are sprinkled across your enterprise application stack. The MicroSensors work with a local intelligence center called, LocalBay, to provide observability and security for APIs. The Web Console provides a rich user experience to explore API insights, setup policies and view alerts & security exceptions, configure the system, generate reports, etc.

ArecaBay API Network Engine supports multitude of application deployments running in private data centers, hybrid cloud, and public cloud. Today’s typical enterprise applications extend across a number of infrastructure components such as traditional SSL load balancers, virtual machines, api-gateways, containerized micro-service infrastructure, public IaaS & PaaS, message bus, etc. ArecaBay’s purpose built MicroSensor is packaged as a micro-sniffer docker container for Kubernetes, Docker-Compose, and Docker Swarm deployments and as a sniffer vm for most of the virtual machine deployments. MicroSensor is also packaged as a plugin to traditional load balancers, api-gateways, and layer-7 proxies. MicroSensor is also packaged as a message bus consumer for typical message bus pipelines and as a serverless function for the public cloud.

 
 
 
 

API Network Engine works in a continuous loop with a self-adaptive API spec generation module that consumes unknown data to accurately identify to a microscopic level the API and the objects within its payload. This API spec is fed back into the network engine to accurately identify and extract only the relevant APIs and their object-level payload. This combined with correlation across various call segments allows ArecaBay to accurately provide rich contextual insights into the API transactions leading to various observability and security use-cases.

Powerful Integrations

ArecaBay provides powerful integrations with multitude of infrastructure components and services.
